Pascal Barallon - Mathematician

What can you do with a degree in math? I was asked this question several times during my studies at the University of Münster. Well, one possibility is to use the acquired analytic skills for quality control and evaluation of motor tests at the GHI and by doing that support further research in the Huntington's disease.

The use of mathematical concepts and simulations in different fields of application mark the core of my studies. The mathematical methods in medical engineering are an interesting example for the actual application of mathematical theory and the regular contact with patients suffering from HD is another motivational boost for the whole team working at GHI.
